Sir Not Appearing in this Post:
I said I would get to my Doctor comments tonight. I lied. The Doctor always lies.  We did watch. We are still processing.  Also, still researching the plot connections going back to Four if not fourther. (Should probably start watching these Breakfast with Baker bits, huh.)

Also not to be discussed here:

- A friendship which is quickly revealing why the word "friend" has the word "end" in it.  Some shit I can take; most shit I can take. But I can't abide close-mindedness, particularly when it's way more close-minded than my own confession to that sin.  I don't mind people disagreeing with me, but when my example for argument's sake results in, not "I disagree with how relevant that is" but "I don't see how that's relevant at all," it's time to consider the value of the friendship.

- Sports. Any of them. At least not until the Mets game tonight begins and ends.  I'll be long gone likely before either.

- Religion. Either mine (or my increasing lack thereof), which an hour in church today merely highlighted, particularly the parenthetical part; or the apparent State Religion of this nation (or its constitutional lack thereof), which at least one presidential candidate seems to think does exist, and who also thinks Islam is "inconsistent with the values and principles of America."  Apparently there's no reading comprehension section on the MCAT, because the Constitution clearly states that "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

No, instead you get music.  I'd hoped to also include the dual piano recitation that started that service this morning, but I can't find a Youtube or other audio of it- yet.  So I'll just go with an amazing piece I heard on the way to Wegmans on the way to church.  At first I thought it was Jackson Browne, but it's not. The artist's name is Dawes (not sure if that's the band or singer's name), and the solo piano, as well as the words, were eminently clear. Listen, and then note the notes below:

Notes:

* This is Suicide Prevention Month, and there have been attempts within our families. Each was, indeed, a little bit of everything.

* That reference-
So in the day in late September
It's not some stupid little ring
I'm giving a little bit of everything

- could just as well refer to our anniversary, which falls this coming Saturday, about as late in late September as you can get and still be on a weekend.

We will return you to Daleks and Dark Knights soon enough. For now, though, process those words with patience, understanding and love.
